Bob, What in the hell is the exact definition of a "Wonk"-- I got some slang, but this one has eluded me--- And if it takes you 20 minutes to set up a tent--you better go buy one of those Rubic's Cubes, and play with that for awhile--- Give you some sort of manual dexterity-- I set my tent up in 10 minutes, without even breathing hard--- Isn't a Reimo what you get when you bend over in from of a Greek? All: I have a Reimo (sp?) side tent that I bought four years ago for my 70 Westy. It cost about $600, which is pricey but not much more than some wonks were paying for 30-year-old canvas Westy side tents. Wonderful, wonderful addition to any van. Stores nicely in the front roof rack of my 87 Westy, sets up in about 20 minutes (with practice -- there about 8,000 pieces to the thing) and it doubles the living space of the van. When I camp at a site with a picnic table I generally bring the entire table inside the tent. It's called the "Casa Grande." 'nuff said. Bob W. '87 Westy |
