Subject:   anybody interested in a 1983 diesel camper?
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

at a used car dealer in tuscaloosa, al

1983 vanagon diesel camper 67,000 miles on the odometer (riiiiiiiiiiiiiight!) not sure of the color ... sort of an off-white-yellow. very light yellow tint to the white. pop-top camper.

now the downside ... the dealer is an absolute crook. probably already set the odometer back. head liner or something is hanging down over the engine. engine is filthy ... dealer left the engine hatch off so i could see it from the rear hatch window. interior is pretty ratty, but cleanable and usable. exterior is very faded, but in fair shape ... usual age-dents and such ... no major damage anywhere that i could see. overall, if it will crank and drive, maybe $2000 worth. maybe. this dealer will probably ask at least $5000 ... might be able to talk them down. if anyone is interested, i'll call and ask the particulars
