I've put 100w bulbs in my '87 Westy's stock headlamps. They are brighter but that doesn't fix the problem which is.... incredibly poor light distribution probably due to the lens design. The H4s weren't that much more expensive than a set of crummy stock headlamps, so I bought the H4s and wished I'd done that fifteen years ago!

| Headlight Upgrades Again: Has anyone played with the upgrade 9004 | series bulbs that would fit the stock USA 86-91 Vanagons? They claim | greater brightness, etc, are plug-n-play, and look like a cheaper an | easier solution than upgrading to H-4's. Any experience out there? | |
