I find the rear of the Westfalia lacking in lighting--not only for seeing what you are doing when parked--but it's a hit or miss thing just entering the rear of the Van, when dark. I have some 2" round indirect lights in the cockpit of my boat, and in the stairs going below, so you can see where in the heck you are going---- They aren't really bright, but are more like mood lighting that reflects, off the deck so you can see where in the heck you are going---- I'm thinking, that 4 of them ( two below the rear seat, and two on the bottom of the cabinet's, ) would allow you to see whereinthe heck you are ging when it's dark, without stumbling around to get to the light switch for the overhead lighting---- These lights are indirect, and would be simple to connect, to the front door switch-- I'm stopping at Boat Us tomorrow, and check the availability out-- It would be neat to have these lights glowing off the floor, if nothing else just to see where in the heck you on your way to in the dark--- I'll report about the possbilities tomorrow---- ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| Terry-- "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
