I've noticed a "bumping" sound coming from one of the passenger side doors. Today I think I figured it out! I think the roller on the top of the sliding door has too much play. The door closes securely but when traveling on our bumpy roads, the door bumps right long with the ride. I had a look, and there seems to be a fair amount of play allowing the top of the door, at the roller, to move side to side. The roller is metal on metal. Is that the same in your westy's? Should it no be rubber coated? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Barry Mercer Sudbury, Ontario Moo 88 westy 174k Km. |
