Hi Guys, I just wanted to confirm the existence of good service at Bus Depot. I just put in an order on Saturday when I was discovering new problems while working on my Syncro. I did it online. Got the order confirmation Sunday or Monday & received the box of parts today (Wednesday).

I have usually had this level of performance on previous orders as well. One week tops, with the exception of a back order or 2. I always ask that they let me know if it's back ordered so if I need it immediately, I can cancel it & buy it locally for a little more. Occasionally, I find that the shipping is equal to the difference in buying locally anyhow.

I value having someone like Ron, who specializes in selling parts for the odd vehicle I own. I also value my local VW parts place (Bow Wow, Seattle) for when I need it NOW! We only have a few options out there for discount parts. Bus Depot seems to have the most stuff & are usually cheapest. I have used several other of the vendors & will continue to use whoever has what I need for what I can afford.

It seems like people jump right on the list if they have a problem with a vendor before trying to work it out with that vendor 1st. That isn't helping anyone & I hate all the extra postings (such as this) to wade through daily. It's one thing to post consistent facts (ie: "GEX does crappy rebuilds") because 75% of us who used them have been screwed. But it seems petty to complain about every vendor that back ordered a part you need. Cancel it & get it somewhere else if you're in a hurry. And yes, all companies that rely heavily on computers will have problems from time to time. Let's all just deal with it.

Sorry for the bandwidth. I thought I was going to have one short paragraph. Oh well.
