Subject: Installation of 2-stage regulator
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Has anybody successfully installed the replacement two stage propane regulator sold by GoWesty or BusDepot? I purchased a new tank along with the regulator assembly recently. Reading through the instructions for the regulator it states that the vent should be within 45 degrees of vertical downward. This is critical to prevent the collection of water or debris. The problem is the spring dome on the low pressure regulator interferes with the tank. Rotating the regulator 45 degrees either way does not solve my problem as the outer radius of the regulator body comes into contact with the tank.

Has anybody else installed this regulator assembly? If so, how did you do it?

Thanks,

Tom Moritz '90 Westy
