Works for us- all depends on how well the surface is prepared for the glue, I suppose. Use 60 grit sandpaper to roughen both mating surfaces and make sure they are clean and free off greasy finger residue.... it's not a perfect fix since the buttons slide instead of rolling, but better cheaper than replacement of the mechanism. Keep the track greased with a light oil or some such....
