Please forgive my "newby" ignorance: What is p-mail? -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM] On Behalf Of John Reynolds Sent: April 22, 2002 21:28 To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Storing Rear table - Westy My rear table does not stay in place when the van is mobile. Yes, I tighten the screws on the leg and table tob, but the table still swings out. Van is an 81. I currently stretch a bungee cord, but there's no great place to attach it to, and then I have remove this whole affair to open the rear closet (I'm not cutting the door or the table!, well maybe I will) Does anyone else have this problem. Currently, I store the table in the hatch, but then it gets buried with other stuff so it a bit of a pain to get out for a kids lunch stop with the kids. Any ideas appreciated. Please p-mail - I lurk through the web. John R 81 Westy |
