What year and engine do you have. Sounds like you are testing it wrong. The 2.1's have three wire hook up. The double connector is for the (o2) heater. Test the single wire to meter and other meter lead to ground. At idle it should bounce around alot between .45 and .7 volts. No or low reading is either a bad o2 sensor or very lean running engine. If you haven't replaced the sensor in 122,000 miles I'd recommend it. Your mileage and performance will probably improve. It measured across the two prong plug 0 volts dc, even after warming up. I was told its supposed to measure .5 -.7 volts dc, so I guess its time for a new oxy sensor or was I measuring wrong?
