If someone designed a front and rear bumper blueprint
and posted it free (just download) Then one could just
take the plans to a local welder and PRESTO! $300 for
the front bumper, $300 for the rear, thats about it in
parts and labor IMO. No $200 shipping charges. No $100
packing fee. No importing tax, just money for parts
and labor MADE IN AMERICA...for a change:)
I work in a steel yard so I can get most any size
pipe, beams, H-piles, z-piles, I-beams etc.. etc... If
an engineer from the list were to design some
blueprints/plans I could have some bumpers fabricated
much cheaper and much stronger than "shedule
40/1.5"OD-my little couzins forearm is thicker than
that:)...That rear bumper is sweet but Is this size a
misprint or something? It looks bigger than 1.5" OD!
