it's obvious anf true that B.B. is the best way to go, HOWEVER, if you're trying to stay local and don't like the idea of shipping, if you're a control freak who stops by the garage at lunch to see how his car is being repaired, ect... then look around locally for some of the aircooled rebuilders. used to drive aircooled myself, now drive 87 syncro. there seems to be more quality knowledge out there in the aricooled world. a lot of mechs just shy away from WBXrs... bottom line, with that aircooled engine i think you have some more options as to what builders to go to. do some more local research. again, for bottom dollar quality and assurance of an excellent product, go to B.B.
