It's metal to metal. And is adjustable. Just "mess" with it, moving it in and out a little. Access to the nut requires removal of the rubber cover. You may also need to look at adjusting your door closure, which may be allowing the door to move even though it closes and stays closed. That's just a large phillips and again, you can experiment with it. Adjusting the door closure latch is probably more likely the device needing adjusting if you can jiggle the door while closed.
