I can't comment on a Digifant System, but on the Digijet system I discarded the idle stabilizer along with the vacuum retard and set the timing at around 10 BTDC. I also readjusted the air flow sensor, so I could open the idle mixture bypass a few extra turns. This stops the resonance in the air flow sensor and makes it run much more smoothly. Idle can be adjusted to as low as 600 RPM, but I have mine set higher (around 850), because I have disconnected the three boosters for A/C, power steering, and cold engine. The reason for this was they kept sticking and I got sick of repairing or replacing them.

I'm not sure of this one, but I believe my cap/rotor are lasting longer now that the idle stabilizer is out of the circuit.
