I actually find my 85 GL is a bit peppier, than my 87 Westy--

Top ends are the same, passing gear kick's in at the same time--they are both pitifully inadequate in the year 2002 for horsepower---and go tain----

Perhaps I need some Sunoco 260--"power to use --not abuse"---

Whatever happened to those Sunoco station's?

They are sure gone from Illinois--

Terry

It seems that the 1.9L motor. with 82 bhp , while less powerful than the 2.1L w/ 95 bhp.....is alot less complicated with coolant hoses, failure prone waterpumps and thermostats...... you with your 1.9 banger....obviously don't understand the "incredible, mind blowing, powerful, g-forced" rush of driving a floored 2.1 litre boxer,........ uphill. ;)
