I met Ken Morgan yesterday, and I have to say I was extremely impressed by his knowledge, shop, personality, diction, etc. He's a damn cool guy. Anyway, we got to talking about this engine he developed- he has custom higher compression pistons & sleeves made, changes the cams and computer, new heads, planks the beams, and balances the snot out of everything. The engine ends up at 2.2L, 115HP, 123Ft./Lbs. There's more details to it, but why not just call him directly? Ken Morgan Euro Cars, Inc. 7667 E. Iliff Denver, CO 80231 303-368-5200

I don't have any vested interest in his business- I was just very impressed. He let me handle a piston/sleeve for a while, and they appear to be extremely high quality, as well as being pure mechanical porn. He also took time out of his day just to geek out on Vanagons generally... who needs the archives; just talk to Ken!
