Hi Jeremy,


The CO screw is used to compensate for minor deviations from "normal". Minor
fuel pressure variation causing injector flow rate changes and unmetered air
leaks can be compensated with the CO screw. Install the new AFM and if no
idle quality changes occur, the rest of the engine systems are functioning
normally. Ideally the exhaust gas content should be checked with an exhaust
gas analyser before & after the AFM installation but idle quality is an
inexpensive alternative.
