Subject: Re: Temp II Readings
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Jim and John -

Interesting variations. My temp II on a cool morning (~ 40F) starts out about 1.6. As the engine warms, the O2 sensor reading drifts up from ~.3 to ~.8. After about 10 minutes, the Temp II reading is ~.12-.15 and the O2 reading starts to bounce back and forth, indicating closed loop operation. Once the engine is fully warm, Temp II runs .09-.12.

This has been consistent through 2 Temp II sensors.

I wonder if minor variations in the Digitool are enough to account for those differences in readings?

Normal temp ll value is .24v @ operating temp, transition from closed loop .35v as I recall. -- Jim Barnes 87 syncro, 86.5 qsw
