Ned, Just a little note to lead you to the proper way to store an engine---

And Stan was correct--either blow some marvel into the intake until the engine flood's out to lubrictate the cylinder's and upper end--until you take it out of storage--- or pull each and every plug, and squirt some oil into the cylinder's to keep the rings, and cylinder's from rusting up---

I fog my boat every year with marvel--until I flood the engine with the stuff, and it dies , from over loading it with the Marvel--shut it off and leave it, until you want to use it again--it'll smoke like all hell, when you want to go again, but it is the best, and fastest protection, you can give a stored engine---
