Looked at bently but did not get an answer on this one. Just put the motor in over the weekend, gonna bolt the intake and exhaust this week and hopefully will be able to crank this weekend. Question; how do I set the initial timing on this thing? I need to know which way the thing turns (though I guess I could crank it and watch, AND what cylinder is #1, #2, #3 and #4 (eg port forward = #1), and is it "turn till I get a puff of air at cylinder #1" and this is the firing stroke? Also, understand there is some debate over advance to set.input here appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance.

Philip
