Ok, I think I have the problem, but need some advice from the experts
here.  I have the carrier bolted properly (arrows forward), and have
isolated the rear header pipe.  It still will not mount, but I think
perhaps it was bent when I dropped the engine.  I have the pics here

And would appreciate if you could look and see if this looks like yours
(I don't have another to compare, but think that perhaps it is bent)

Would like to confirm prior to ordering a new one
