If you don't have the swivel seat option, its pretty easy take the passenger seat off the seat tracks and install it facing the rear. There is a little spring loaded clip that you need to raise while pulling the seat forward in order to remove the seat. I do this all the time when I go camping, takes about 1 minute. I thought about welding in the swivel mount when I did my conversion, but decided I didn't want to compromise safety in an accident.

I've done this on my 90GL. Search the archives for info. but basically you get a swivel seat base that's been cut out of a westy, then either drill and bolt it into your van, or better yet get it welded in place. Your seat slides in with no problem. I think any year swivel seat base will work, the main thing is to make sure it was cut out of the donor vehicle nicely.
