There are loads of lists around...we just completed a 2 month trip last summer from VA to SF and back via Portland, Oregon and a whole bunch of national
parks...

Bring patience...going up the rockies  is tough...and I believe the carb mix could be difficult.   Recommend you id a good mechanic in 2 or 3 cities and have
it checked over when you get there.  Bring belts, drinking water...and don't count on the fridge to be cold enough for perishables for more than a day.  I am
not a mechanic so I brought lists of mechanics, my laptop, this list address (thanks so much)..a bentley for any mechanic.  If you have any spare parts like a
water pump..that might be good.  It was only 2 of us and the dog so we had some extra room...
