You could try cleaning up the pipes and JB Welding any pits.  I did this on
the ends of a couple of my pipes.  They were pitted underneath where the
hose was clamped overtop.   Painted black with high temp engine paint.  So
far so good.  These pipes are expensive and some aren't available anymore.

I'm looking to replace 2 coolant pipes on my 85GL.  The pipes are steel and
run from the water pump underneath the crankshaft pulley and connects to
another steel pipe (via a short rubber hose) to the right cylinder head.
I'm experiencing some coolant leakage when the van is fully warm and want
to
get this looked after.
Also, anyone that has done this repair and has some tips it would be much
appreciated.
