Malcolm from Halifax showed me a neat hiding spot above the closet or as we call it the cloak room. This is hard to describe but it is as follows: 1. open hatch 2. on the shelf, top left above the linen closet there is a small storage area 3. behind this small storage area there is a cavity. I yet have to look on our 86 Westfalia of this is indeed the case. 4. in order to access this cavity you have to do some cutting.

Perhaps this will be an incentive to take the closet out to make this cavity accessible and spray some Krown rust proofing behind there at the same time.

Cheers,

Hans Brouwer Cumberlabnd, Ontario 86 Westfalia 92 Cabriolet
