in adition to my 87 syncro gl, i also have a 2002 subaru forester "S" model, it is truly a sweet ride, esp. with the leather interior, exc. safety rating, 7 disk changer, and yoko geolander tires, BUT the best thing about it is the powerful little boxer engine (168HP). wish VW still made the vanagon and put THESE engines in them. only downside is.....my wife doesn't let me drive it......... jeff
