A.  For the times when you don't want to bother with accessing the
Internet.


B.  For the times when you don't have Internet access, IE: On the road.


C.  The list archives may not be there forever - a bird in hand is worth
two in the bush as they say............


I export relevant Vanagon list messages to a Filemaker Pro database which
is instantly accessible, portable, and keeps my Claris Emailer program
database to a manageable size.  I usually have it with me on my laptop
when I travel.
