How about a much cheaper one.. say.. about $60US for a new one? Tha's how much I paid. I got mine from Johnson's Foreign Parts. Call them at 1-888-VW-PARTS on Monday. Recently another list member bought a hitch on my recommendation and he's happy too!

Anyone want to sell a trailer hitch. I need one for use May 10th.

What I thought would be a simple process of buying a trailer hitch for my Transporter/Westfaia (bolt to the tow rings type) is proving to be impossible. I found a supplier for new ones somewhere on the web the other night $89US for fixed tongue type, $109 for receiver type - but guess I didn't bookmark it and I have lost the website and can't find it a second time.

If there is anyone nearby in Canada or the US who would like to sell one or even rent it please let me know by direct email.

I'm in Ottawa, Ontario Canada
