Well, I can finally give y'all an update about the
OtherBus that I am purchasing. After receiving a
business card from a dude here in Asheville telling me
that he had a '84 Wolfsburg for sale. That was a
week-and-a-half ago. Today I went to look at the new
bus (new to me, anyways) which I have dubbed
"'NutherBus"  and I am attaching a couple of pix for
y'all to see. When I got to the guys place and looked
at 'NutherBus, what I saw was a bus that looks like it
is in very good physical condition body-wise an I
found only one small dent about the size of a
half-dollar on the right rear corner. It has a hitch,
but the front grille is smashed in acouple places, so
I'll need to replace it. Maybe a Hella headlight
upgrade will be in order with the square kit;
hmmmmmmmm......... Also the hubcaps are
non-existent.......nada.........missing in non-action.
Of course, the two front seats are in critical need of
some care or rather a complete reupholstery job.
Everything else is intact; except that it doesn't
run.......I guess that's why I got it for $500 bucks,
eh? Anyways, good deal for me......another project. My
wife says that's all I need is another project. I tell
her that another project prolongs our lives, because
we can't leave until all our work is done, right?

this bus will be a candidate for the Full Moon Bus
