How could anybody possibly be confused about if their van is water or air cooled? Air cooled have only an upper grill, water cooled have both an upper and lower grill. The original post was just a general question of how can the fellow tell from a distance. Boy if you can't tell the difference you're in trouble: The rule is: Oil on the driveway = air-cooled Antifreeze on the driveway = water cooled Where is the techno there?
