R-12 blows colder than 134, but is ten times the price--- Alternative's can be used--but again isn't cheap--- 134 you can buy at K-Mart, and if you have the AC service equipment, you can do all the servicing yourself, and for cheap--- But---my advice would be to change all the O-rings in the whole system, (regardless of any information from any witch doctor's that advise to put a wonder oil in the system, which cause's the 134 to be compatible--) as well as the dryer--- You'd be surprised at how much cheesy crap is inside the dryer--- Changing it will make the AC system work much more efficiently 134 runs at higher pressure's--doesn't run as cold, is cheap, and it can be bought anywhere--- You be the judge--- Later, ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| Terry-- "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
