On the way to Everybus I stopped and got gas just before reaching the campground. When I calculated my mileage on my PDA in a database that I use to keep track of mileage and service expenses, it came out 26.5 MPG on th trip from Asheville, NC to Greensboro, NC. Of course this was in my wasserboxer at an average 65 mph. On the way back to Asheville (which is uphill most of the way home) I got 23.7 MPG. Not too shabby for a Wolfy with 202,000+ miles on it, eh?....Rodney --- Greg Marshall <earthboy@ROGERS.COM> wrote: > That was at about 65 miles an hour, with a moderate > tail wind. > > Greg. > > Chris Stann wrote: > > > > I got 23 mpg on a 3.5 hour drive this weekend in > my 2.0 aircooled! > > > > At what average speed? > > > > Chris.
