After searching endlessly for a Westy in good shape, (and lurking on the list,) I finally found a PRISTINE 1987 Westy. Can't wait to take it out, but I want to spend soem time gettign to know it, even for the most part (so far,) it doesn't have any of the VW foibles that we all learn to live with. (Like...turn the key part way, back it out, then turn all the way to ignition...that sort of thing.) It's kind of scary. But then again, it has 80K on the clock, and was babied, so maybe that helps. Any advise for a newbie is appreciated. Thanks, -Mark ------------------------------------------------ |
