Not to suggest MTL over MT90 in your Vanagon but I'm using Redline MTL in my Saab. The older Saabs are notorious for notchy transmissions and the MTL fixed it. The people at Redline are very nice too. I had called a few years ago with a question. Rather than BS me with an answer, she transferred me to speak w/ one of the chemists. I was impressed. -d 1999 Eurovan Camper 19,000 miles 1992 Saab 900 189,000 miles At 09:03 PM 4/29/02 -0500, you wrote: >Eric Unrau wrote: > >> There’s lots of debate in the archives over Redline MTL (75w80) vs. >> MT-90 (75w90) in the Vanagon, > >Use the Reline MT90! > >Your tranny will love you and life will be sweet! |
