The P-trap is a pretty standard RV part. You can usually buy a "kit" from an RV shop that has the trap, drain cup & strainer, and a hose for about $20. Everything but the trap and hose are usually junk, though. My p-trap developed a crack, and in order to remove it, I had to take a hack saw to the inside "throat" of the drain, creating a "split" so that I could crush the whole assembly and remove it from the sink.

The problem is that I have not been able to find a replacement drain that will fit flush with the bottom of the sink - they all sit up too high, and won't drain completely. Royal PITA. My advice is to *try* and replace the P-trap without destroying the drain fitting which attaches from the top side.

Cheers,

Brent Christensen
