Subject: COIL SPRING HELP

Hi Steve, Well, by golly, it`s only been about a year, but I've got the front-end off of my 85 Westfalia, 2wd. I've got a question on the coil springs, that I bought from you. As I laid out the new coil springs, I notice that their about one full inch shorter. To my knowledge, the original springs have never been replaced, but who knows, with these busses. Also, the bus always seemed a little high in the front anyway. But I just guessed it was because of the extra weight of the Subbie engine, and the fact that the bus is old, and needs rear springs as well. Is there any reasons, that the springs in the bus are taller? Have I purchased the correct springs form you? You're the expert on these springs, and I appreciate any help you might give me! :) I cant wait to see what all new parts feel like !!! Thanks, John Carpenter, SLC, UT 85 Westaru...
