Hmm you could combine one of those and one of these http://thesamba.com/racks/ some really stiff shocks, and an engine upgrade... :oD JT and they look nice 'enuf -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of phil stanhope Sent: Friday, May 03, 2002 7:39 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Gary Lee Custom Hatchback Racks....How do you like yours?
So far I am very impressed with the racks that Gary's website offers. What looks to me like very well made(TIG welded) Bike/cargo racks. The 1"1/4" tubing he uses HAS to be MUCH stronger than Pulchen racks-spelling? And the price is right:(all prices in US dollars): Unpainted bare metal $209.00, Painted $229.00, Black powder coated $259.00
So What are they like in person? Thanks Phil Stanhope
