My favorite place in the Gorge is Maryhill. Coming from the west, cross the Columbia at The Dalles. Continue east on WA 14. Maryhill is about 15-20 miles on the right. After spending a couple hours examining the most fantastic collection of art in the Northwest, continue east on 14 a couple miles then down the hill and camp at Maryhill State Park. Next morning, cross the river and continue east on I-84.
