Ive found that the cheapest vanagons are sold by ordinary (non vw enthusiast folks) that dont see the vanagon as an eternal entity but as an aging 16 year old vehicle with normal depriciation values. That said the best deals are in the local pennysavers. The only problem with this is that these non-vw folk dont always know about all the quirks with a vanagon, but its definitley where to find the "steals". I am not saying that you cant get a deal from someone on the list by the way. later, Andrew Fox
