My black kettle got a chili workout at the famous Mt. Diablo World Champeenship Chili Cookoff. CDO has feet. DO has no feet. Both are "dutch ovens". Woody Hobart made a rectangular Aluminum CDO that exactly fits a Pyromid cooker. Both fit in your dishwasher when you get home. I have a Griswold #10 CDO and a few others. The berry berry best are now antiques and with the upsurge in CI cooking bring a handsome price. Check EbaY for Griswold, Wagner, Erie dutch ovens. A #10 CDO fits on the Westy stove just fine.
