<P>What if you just have tinted windows and your AC isn't working. And do they have the old coolant available there (R-12...) like they do here in southern cal? <BR><BR></P></DIV></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>>The answer to this is "it depends"--
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>Florida is a "longish" state that runs North-South. Climatically speaking,
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>Natives use the terms "North Florida" and South Florida". North Florida has
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>a climate much like the rest of the "Sun Belt" states--Texas, AZ. etc.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>Sometimes it gets well below freezing in the Winter, and this condition has
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>been getting worse in recent years, as any orange grove owner will attest.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>South Florida is considered Semi-Tropical. Tends to be dry in the winter and
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>wet in Summer. Temps around the Jupiter area ( Palm Beach County) get into
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>the low 90's this time of the year. In July and August, they are oppressive,
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>and AC, both in one's home and car, is essential. Folks get up @ 4 AM to do
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>their gardening, than stay inside with the AC after 8 or so.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>Tip O' the iceberg, hope this helps.
