I was planning on ordering a clutch mater cylinder from the Bus Depot order line this morning. Yes, I had the part number. However, when I called, I was greeted (and I use the term loosely) by an extremely surly-sounding individual who promptly put me on hold for a lengthy amount of time. So lengthy, in fact, that I hung up without hearing from the sales rep again. I was disappointed, because this is the first time I've tried to order anything from BD, and they had the best price I could find on the part I needed. I ended up calling Adirondack, whose was ten bucks higher, but with whom I spend a good deal of money for Vanagon and Scirocco stuff. I relayed my experience to Wayne (the ever-friendly order tech), and he promptly matched the BD price. Cool, huh? Anyway, I understand that Ron Salmon has a small business to run and good prices, and I'd like to give him business in the future. Did I just catch an off-moment on the order line?
