I don't have quite 4K on my Syn oil from last change and changed that today as I'm taking a long, hot trip (Arizona/mountain climbs) and would rather have the new oil for protection despite the $30.00 or so expense. As has been said, it's just good insurance. As a matter of fact, doing it led to noticing some wires that were rubbing on the engine bay moulding so I retaped them and zip-tied them up out of harms way. My point being that the one thing led to another, preventive measure. These are old vehicles and deserve all the tlc they can get...it comes back. Should I change the oil before >heading off on my big trip??? > >Thanks, Bill
