Today I saw an 87 Wolfsburg without factory air. Dark gray exterior, light gray interior with table and rear facing jump seats. It did have an aftermarket A/C in the dash but not the type I have seen before. The dash A/C did not occupy the space where the glove box lives as every other one I have seen did. Also it had a separate A/C unit under the bench seat with vents on either side of the rear heater vent. There was a separate switch on the dash for the rear unit. The under seat unit filled most of the space to the right of the rear heater. Both units shared the same compressor and condenser. Does anyone on the list have this same setup? If so I would like to hear how well it works. thanks, Mark |
