KOA??? Now that is a hot topic. Some people hate them, others like me, love them. But then I travel with two small kids and a clean and safe campground with pool and playground can make your road life very enjoyable. Some cater to families with movie nights, ice cream socials, and pancake breakfasts. As a rule of thumb: KOAs are best if not located next to an Interstate or a famous tourist location. The more remote the better. My favorite: West Glacier. One more tip: always stay in their tent sites. They are usually nicer, have a prettier view, and the people around you are more fun.
