Anything is possible. How much work/inventiveness are you willing to put into it? One place to start would be the sunroof mechanism for the A2 Scirocco. VW tends to use similar cables, fittings etc. across models in the same production cycle. Though the Vanagon (to my knowledge) never can with a power sunroof, the scirocco did. With enough mental gymnastics, tools, and patience, you could make this work.

The bright sun this past weekend kept whispering to me, "Open the sunroof, open the sunroof." So, for the first time, I decided to open it. Little did I understand that opening the sunroof was aerobic exercise. It took forever! Can a motor be installed to open the sunroof with the push of a button? TIA With an aching arm, Ronald |
