<P>I'd like an answer on this as well. I have the old wrecked sliding door in storage and want to remove the glass and throw out the rest of the door. Also, can you remove the glass that slides from the frame it slides in? I see there are four notches in the frame for the button mechanism, but only three are usable because of the rubber in the upper rear corner. <BR><BR></P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>>If any of you have any great tips on how to carefully remove a set
<DIV></DIV>>of
<DIV></DIV>>sliding windows from a 88 weekender I'd be very thankful. I've
<DIV></DIV>>pulled
<DIV></DIV>>windows from other cars but not sliders. Should I cut the seal and
<DIV></DIV>>pop them
<DIV></DIV>>out or just press from the corner slowly and steadily like with
<DIV></DIV>>normal
<DIV></DIV>>windows. I suspect I should leave the windows closed so I don't
<DIV></DIV>>rack the
<DIV></DIV>>frame from twisting it out one corner at a time. I'll be selling my
<DIV></DIV>>sliders
<DIV></DIV>>soon after. I'm getting a set with black frames and replacing my
<DIV></DIV>>shiny
<DIV></DIV>>aluminum frames. I'll post those for sale soon.
