Subject: slider window removal (tint)
Content-Type: text/html

<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>How do you remove the slider window of the middle side windows? Removal will allow me to tint the entire surface of the glass. Also, will a small screwdriver remove the push mechanism on these windows. I need to remove these too to there isn't a gap where between the mechanism and the tint. Do I need a special tool for this? </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Then with respect to the front quarter windows. Can I remove the locking mechanism (for the same reason)? How do I do this? </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>BTW just had my windows tinted with solargard sputtered charcoal in 15% behind the driver compartment and 43% for the front side windows. The numbers are perfect, overall the vanagon looks much better. There was a problem with the craftsmanship though, so the shop owner is redoing the slider windows for free, and I might as well have the glass removed so it will look even better. </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>If were to do it over again, and I had the money, I'd opt for a shop that has their tint computer cut, and I'd super clean the windows myself everyday for a few days before the job, even if it meant putting it for a couple of&nbsp;weeks. You can't expect an employee to have pride in his work. There's dirt between the film and the glass especially in the far rear side corner on the right side. Still it looks better from a view, and theres much less heat stress driving in sunny southern california with no ac. (I still don't know if I should have gone with Quantum over Charcoal, but the percentages are perfect and I'd stick with them.) </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>And hey, I've got a streamlight stinger flashlight with a fast charger, so the tint isn't going to stop me from reading addresses at night in the rain. I'm gonna upgrade the Stinger to a Stinger HP, that will take it from 15,000 candle power to 40,000 candle power - this light makes Mag Light look like a sick cow, even at 15,000.</DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: <a href='http://g.msn.com/1HM105401/45'>Click Here</a><br></html>
