You'll get a deal only if someone is desperate to sell. On my former camper I had to wait a full year to get my price but I did not have to sell. It was worth every penny and I was not about to sacrifice it. I feel the same way about my vanagon. I would never sacrifice it for a low price just for money. I have put too much into it.

Do your homework and look into everything before you spend your hard earned money. Often it is worth the price if the van is in good shape and has good improvements and is already broken in so to speak.

Most people will negotiate a price but do not depend on blue book values. Blue book is for ordinary vehicles, with ordinary care.

Many vans have been upgraded and are worth way more than blue book. And some vans are so bad that even a low blue book is too high.
