There is a silver lining in every cloud. If Ron is wise (and he obviously is) he will see the "whining" as free consultation. It shows where to improve his business. Just look at your Vanagons! You don't often rave about how well it works. You look at the squeaky wheel. RIGHT? All Ron has to do with his 6 to 10 day shipping claim is add "In rare circumstances or back order situations longer shipping may be required."

I have not often chimed into these rants about Bus Depot or others but I do believe that most online businesses charge excessive shipping charges. A small item that can be put in an envelope somehow with a 34 cent stamp still costs $5.

Most Internet businesses I have dealt with are willing to make adjustments. Some like J.C. Whitney are too big to bother and go for volume.

The best businesses know the value of the small sale and word of mouth. this is why www.Vanagain.com and www.volkscafe.com have such good reps. They know that good business is not just about money or volume but more about people.

In the long run all of this will not amount to a hill of beans. As a famous guru once said "Remember that you are lower than the dust in the road."
